Since its inception in 1989, PAC has been at the forefront of humane, dog control technology . PAC’s mission statement has always been to lead in its marketplace, with reliable, humane and effective equipment.

The company has achieved this consistently by working with animal psychologists and behaviourists, trainers and vets; experienced, electronic engineers and designers, state-of-the- art manufacturing facilities; and, of course, a significant user-testing community – PAC’s own, very large, customer base.

Indeed, PAC’s continuing commitment to ‘customer care, through fast turnaround of repairs or replacements, has resulted in an extraordinary level of customer loyalty. Much of PAC’s new business is thus generated by ‘word-of-mouth’ referrals.

Analog to Digital.

PAC has built up a 10-year expertise on electronic Collar design and manufacture, st art ing with analog and basic digital systems, and with what today would seem rather cumbersome handsets and collars. 10 years on - and we have developed the sophisticated FSK technology for our Trainer Collars and a digital system to enhance the functionality of our Electronic Fences in addition to the latest developments in miniaturisation, such as surface-mounted components and a huge body of reference material in the 'black art ' of radio frequency and antenna design. This has allowed us to achieve the greatest range in the industry despite internalising our collar antennae within the tough plastic alloy of our collars.

Research

Technologists in PAC's Research and Development Dep art ment are working with many of the top dog trainers and government agencies to ensure that future developments in PAC's range exceed the already high standards of the current models. Indeed, the flexibility of the Advancedrange of Electronic Collars is the culmination of three years research into both customer and dog behaviour in field trials. Giving our customers the facility to reprogram the handset functionality, has proven to be a major factor in value-added research.
